Fee Schedule Effective December 1, 2020 Acceptable forms of payment are cash1, credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express), checks2, travelers checks, or money orders made payable to Clerk, U.S. Courts, for all fees except those Attorney Admissions related (those must be made electronically).

Photocopy Requests
Remotely The public can remotely access any case document, docket sheet, or case-specific report via PACER for $0.10 per page, not to exceed the fee for 30 pages. The 30 page limit does not apply to electronic access to transcripts and non-case specific reports via PACER (such as reports obtained from the PACER Case Locator or docket activity reports). Electronic access to an audio file of a court hearing is also available via PACER for $2.40 per audio file. By Judicial Conference policy, no fee is owed for electronic access to court data or audio files via PACER until an account holder accrues charges of more than $30.00 in a quarterly billing cycle, effectively making the service free for most users. PACER is available to anyone who registers for an account. Please go to http://www.pacer.gov to register. In Person You may come to the court and request copies of electronic documents at a cost of $0.50 per page. Written Request You may mail a written request and a photocopy fee of $0.50 per page in the form of a check, travelers check, or money order made payable to Clerk, U.S. Courts. Please include the case name, case number, and the title of the documents which you wish to have photocopied. In addition, please include your name, address, and telephone number. Obtaining Page Counts If you wish to obtain photocopies of court documents, but do not know the number of pages, call (504)310-7700 and a member of the Clerk's office will give you a page count. Please have the case number, case title, and description of document ready when you call.

Furnishing the check information is voluntary, but a decision not to do so may require you to make payment by some other method. 3 Effective June 1, 2016, this service includes $10 Judiciary administrative fee and two additional Federal Record Center (FRC) fees: (A) $9.90 flat rate fee to pull and refile the record(s) and (B) $0.65 per page fee. The FRC fees are subject to change in accordance with the Inter-Agency Agreement between the AO and the FRC.
