Planned CM/ECF Outage Saturday, September 3, 2022

Fifth Circuit CM/ECF servers will be offline for service beginning at 6 a.a. Central Time Saturday, September 3 until Saturday evening.  During this time, the public will be unable to file documents or access case related information through PACER.

We cannot extend jurisdictional deadlines governed by Rules 4 and 26 of the Federal Rules of Appellate Procedure and the time for filing an appeal in a civil case is mandatory and jurisdictional as well as the time for filing Petitions for Review. 

If a party’s filing is not covered by the deadline extension, the party should contact the emergency duty clerk for assistance in filing the matter by email.  The emergency duty clerk may be reached by calling 504-310-7700 and following the prompts.
