CM/ECF Temporarily Unavailable

The court is aware that electronic filing is temporarily unavailable and is working to correct the issue.  If a party’s deadline for filing is 3/11/2022, and the party is unable to file due to this outage, the court will extend the deadline until Monday, 3/14/2022.  This does not apply to cases previously designated for expedited briefing.  We remind parties and counsel that notices of appeal are governed by Rules 4 and 26 of the Federal Rules of Appellate Procedure and the time for filing an appeal in a civil case is mandatory and jurisdictional.  

If a party’s filing is not covered by the deadline extension, the party should contact the emergency duty clerk for assistance in filing the matter by email.  After 5:00 p.m., the emergency duty clerk may be reached by calling 504-310-7700 and following the prompts.
