Selecting an index to search can be done in a number of ways, depending on how your ISYS:web Administrator has created the ISYS:web search page. Usually when you select the search page an index is selected automatically. However sometimes there may be more than one index available. Indexes can be chosen using drop-down list boxes or radio buttons, these allow you to select an index other than the default.
Example of a list box for index Selection:
ISYS:web enables you to search more than one Index at the same time.
Your ISYS:web Administrator may have already set up a Chained or
Master index which links several indexes together.
Additionally, you can dynamically link indexes together for
each query if your index selection is made by way of a number
of check boxes or radio buttons.
