Court Closure Update

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit will be closed Thursday and Friday, September 22nd and 23rd, 2005 due to the projected path of Hurricane Rita.

However, there will be a very limited staff available on Thursday the 22nd for extreme emergency matters.  There will be no staff on Friday the 23rd.

The oral argument sessions beginning the week of September 26th will be held as scheduled in Austin and Plano, Texas.
